I bought seedlings from someone, but I can't see them online?
Only the owner of the seedlings can complete the trade online. Call them and have them complete the trade. If they
do not use the Seed and Seedling Management System, ask them for access to their account so you perform the trade. If neither
the company you bought the trees from nor the nursery that grew the trees use the website, you will have to create the seedling
item yourself.
The numbers for a particular seedling item don't make sense. How do I troubleshoot?
Use the Trace Screen which can be accessed from the Seedlings Screen by selecting the Crop Name from the list. The Trace
Screen shows you the original and current owners, the grow nursery and current locations, shipments, trades and allocations
for each seedling item. Common problems associated with incorrect stock numbers, locations, or ownership include:
- shipping from the wrong location
- trading from the wrong login
- changing the inventory amount, instead of making appropriate trades or shipments
- not managing overruns correctly
How do I change the Year and Season of my seedlings?
We recommend you add an Alternate Year and Season to the seedling item by editing it. This will allow you to see the seedling
in the original and alternate years/seasons, and allocate seedlings to a project of either year and season.
How do I perform a Thaw Request?
Thaw Requests can be created by planning your shipments in advance. Your stock will be thawed as needed, and you can change
shipment details as your shipment date approaches.
