I bought seedlings from someone, but I can't see them on my PlantWizard.com account?
Only the owner of the seedlings can complete the trade on PlantWizard.com. Call them and have them complete the trade on PlantWizard.com. If they do not use PlantWizard.com, ask them for their login so you can do it from their account. If neither the company you bought the trees from nor the nursery that grew the trees use PlantWizard.com, you will have to create the seedling item yourself.
How do I change my password, contact information and/or email addresses?
When you are logged in, go to 'User > Profile' (on the bottom left side of the screen). This will bring you to the 'Member Profile' Screen where you can change your passwords, contact information and email addresses.
The numbers for a particular seedling item don't make sense. How do I troubleshoot?
Use the Trace Screen which can be accessed from the Seedling Inventory Screen or from the menu on the left side of the screen (type in Request Key and select Trace). The Trace Screen shows you the original and current owners, the grow nursery and current locations, shipments, transfers, and trades for each seedling item.
Common problems associated with incorrect stock numbers, locations, or ownership include:
- shipping from the wrong location
- trading from the wrong login
- changing the inventory amount, instead of making appropriate trades or shipments
- not managing overruns correctly
- not using the seedling transfer feature to move stock to a new year / season
How do I change the Year and Season of my seedlings?
In the Seedling Inventory Screen, find your seedling item and click on the appropriate number in the Current Inventories column on the right-hand side. The Seedling Transfer Screen will appear allowing you to transfer all or some of the seedlings to another year and season.
How do I perform a Thaw Request?
Thaw Requests can be created by planning your shipments in advance. Your stock will be thawed as needed, and you can change shipment details as your shipment date approaches.
